An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC ) is required for all homes being marketed in the UK.
From April 2009 this will be required as part of the HIP, and made available for prospective buyers, as soon as your property comes on the market.

What to expect
- When you order an EPC you will be asked a few questions regarding your property and an appointment booked
- Each EPC takes approx 40 mins depending on house size.
- It will help if you have any plans and documents regarding insulation and heating available, but this is not compulsory.
- We will need access to all rooms in your house, plus the loft and gardens.
- During The survey we will be assessing how energy efficient your property is, by measuring area, looking at insulation, heat loss walls, heating, lighting etc
- Payment will be required on completion of the survey and a receipt given.
- Same day full report via email, including your EPC certificate, and recommendations for improving your home efficiency.
